Gpo Problem

I have installed the domain controller in Server 2008 and configured it. now after making an OU i have created a user. And added a group policy from GROUP POLICY MANAGEMENT with the name test1. And then link the OU with the new added policy. But it is not working on the client side. In the report of setting TAB it show all the policies those i have added.

What does the policy do?

Have you run rsop.msc or gpresult.exe on the client to see if there are errors trying to apply the policy?
