Bad Performance At Login

I've installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on a new computer with Intel quadcore processor, a 30GB SSD as system disk and 2 500GB sata-2 drives in mirror as datadrive. There are two client computers connected, each running WIndows XP with SP3. The same clients ran on the NT-server that was used before without any problem.
I have disconnected them from the NT-domain and connected them to the new domain.
The problem is that after the user has filled in his name and password it takes minutes of time before the system is ready to use. I do not use a logon-script and no roaming profiles. The only drivemapping used is made local and the printers are installed local as well.

Does anybody know how to accelerate the login?

Thanks in advance,
Pieter

I have a similiar problem but i m using redirection folder. Its working very well on most of the computers but on my vista computers it takes 5-15 minutes. They are all in the same room and i m thinking about bad cables or a bad router? If they are using another computer outside that room(winxp, Win7)its working just fine.
