Indefinite Disconnects

it appears possible to setup a terminal server user with indefinite disconnect capability so that an application can be installed on the TServer and kept running while still allowing the individual the capability to go in and out of the Terminal Server to monitor the application? If so, are there any issues or cautions?

I do this myself. The only problem I ever encounter is when the network has maintenance downtime.
