Exchange 2010 64 Bit?

hi guys ,

i want to install exchange server but exchange server 2007 is not avaible at least i couldnt find demo version.and exchange 2010 only support 64 bit.my CPU supports 32 bit.is there any link i can exchange 2007?or any solution?

by they way server 2008 R2 only supports 64 bit.what if i want to upgrade server 2008 to server 2008 R2 i have a server and it has 32 bit CPU.i have to upgrade hardware or is there a solution for this problem.

Hi maverick,

Exchange 2007 and above ARE ONLY 64 bits!

You MUST have a x64 OS and of course a x64 CPU.

thanks for info , but can i run 64 OS on a 32 bit Cpu?or 32 bit OS on 64 bit Cpu?

previous exchange server versions are not avaible to download anymore i guess or where i can find older exchange versions?

You can run 32 bits OS on 64 bit CPU (because of a CPU CAN SUPPORT 64 bits, that means you don't have to use it )
You CANNOT run 64 bits OS on 32 bit CPU.

Regarding your downloads, I use the eopen service from microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter/

To be honest, I think you could download also from torrents, you just have to use a VALID and LEGAL serial key (provided by MS). Anyway, downloading this softwares from torrent can be dangerous, do it at your own risk.
