How To Transfer A Current Non Domain Account To Windows Server

I recently installed windows server R2 2008 on one of my computers. I would like my other computer to join onto the new server, without losing my current information. Is there a way to do this?

Current setup:
Home Workgroup: with 5 computers. Comp 1, Comp 2, etc.

New setup (domain)
Home.Server: Wanting to move the computers from my workgroup on to here.
When I add a user with Active directory, i obviously get a new user with empty pictures, docs, etc.

There must be a way to take current users and information and transfer them into the new domain, right?
 
Actually you can do it but at your own risk.

You can login with the new domain account and then logout. Once done, copy the local profile to the new domain profile (overwrite).
