Hello,
I have a windows 2008 server (x32) running in RDS mode on a W2K8r2 Doman, if I assign any policies to the user, e.g. printer mappings, Drive Mappings ect. it can take literally hours to logon.. if I remove policies the server will logon immediately.
I don't see this issue with the w2k3 server or with XP/W7 clients (Xp has the client ext. installed of course).
I don't see the issue if the account has admin rights with policies.
I suspect it might be UAC?? but am at a loss as to how this can be. I am currently running SP2 with all the current patches.
after hours of Google searches this looks like it could be related to clientside extentions but no patches will install because I'm at the current patch level..
I'm open for any suggestions.....
