Hello first post from me.
I want some advice to set up this:
I have 2 terminal servers and a dc (all 2008R2), the users are using a simple peace of software (no registery settings)
and i want to use the second terminal server as a fallback server.
Is this possible (or is this a stupid idea? lol):
terminal server 1:
1. set U: drive for users to local map on Terminal server c:\data\userdata\%username%
2. Install software in c:\data\userdata\%username%\software and make a shortcut on the desktop to the program
3. Redirect user map dekstop to c:\data\userdata\%username%\desktop
terminal server 2:
Use DFS to sync c:\data\userdata\ from terminal server 1
So if terminal server 1 false and the users are using terminal server 2 the can work again.
I this possible? Or is there a better solution?

Blanco
