I'm New- Where do I start?

Hi Everyone.

I'm new to the "Server World" and I'm looking for advice of where to start. I'm retired Navy, so I have some GI Bill benefits to use, but I'm just not sure what courses are needed for a solid foundation. I'm just your basic home user, not a novice nor an expert.

Depending on the time you can invest, you can buy a book (mastering windows server 2008) or take a course like MCSA/MCSE (now the names are changed, but basically is the same thing).

Thanks for the advice.. I'll look into the book for now, get that under me, then maybe the courses.
