Hello @ll,
ive the following (very strange) problem with our print server in our network:
Some printjobs takes a very long time to leave the spooler print queue and finally reaches the printer.
Therere are no errors in the logfiles, the workload is minimum, a restart of the printer doesnt help.
On the printserver there were only drivers from one manufacturer installed (Kyocera).
The problem is not repeatable and there are always other various models.
It seems that something "blocked" the queues.
OS: Windows 2008 R2 / numbers of printqueues: nearly 300 / number of different models: 26 / number of different printer drivers: 3.
Maybe theres a chance to use the R2-Feature "isolated modus" for all print drivers ? Does anybody have any experience with this feature ? Or generally any idea about this problem ?
Thanks for your support.
Amon
