remote sysstate backup

Can i do a backup of the sysstate on one win2k8 dc and send it to an external drive on a remote server. Or send backups to a remote mapped drive in general

. This is when using the windows server 2008 backup utility

Not to a shared drive but yes on a mapped drive. From what I can remember you can't write the UNC path, but you can easily map the network drive (N:\) and then it works.

If not, you can save it on local drive and once the backup comes to an end, run a batch that copy that file.
