Hello members!

I have a strange problem with windows 2008 R2 file server. My company has about 60 employees. We have a file server with defined access rights to file server folders.
When I add an access permissions directly to folder (using Network File and Folder Sharing) for specific user with read / write permissions, everything works fine. But when I set up a group in AD, add this user to this group and add group access permissions to this folder, user cannot access the folder. I hope you understand my problem.

Everything depends on you set up the permission on root and sub folders.

When you assign a permission you can open the advanced tab of that folder and select EFFECTIVE permission and specify the username or group to determine which permission is applied. Remember: the most restrictive is applied.

Thanks! The all trick was in case, that user must restart computer after he has been added to some user group.
