Vista seems to attract a large number of mokeys of all kinds...

I mean look at this newsgroup.. 99% of the fanboys swing in trees...

Could it be perhaps because vista was designed by Monkeys?

The Vista Experience...Designed by monkeys for monkeys! (TM)

Must I remind everyone of my classic post back in october 2006?

-----

In the 5 year period between windows releases Microsoft has a special
project that was "top secret".
They had sent expeditions to Africa to find the best quality baboons they
could find.
The reason for this is was a idea that flashed into the mind of Bill Gates
when he was visiting his local zoo.

"What if we could tap into the animal instinct and use that to help us
create better User Interfaces???"

The expedition smuggled 10 baboons and flied them to Redmond where after 3
months of training they were
put as heads if User Interface design for Vista, office2007, and Internet
explorer 7.
Using normal offices, wearing suites etc these monkeys were part of the
Microsoft team!

"It was a change for sure, and that's what we wanted for Vista products"
said the personnel manager of Microsoft.
"We wanted to tap into the animal instinct and give vista a "masculine"
feeling and look.
One word was on our mind, change change change.. we didn't really know what
to change or how to change it but we did need change, that's the role the
monkeys played."

"Our idea was that we believe that animals are far more intelligent than
with think. Baboons are primates like us and share 99% of our dna... we
wanted them to lead us in this new era and guide us with their instincts.
Hey and it was fun monkeying around with the baboons on the coffee breaks
too"

"The way the baboons taught us how to design Vista and the other new
products was ingenious!
We made special building blocks of various designs.. and we let the monkeys
play around with them...
after some time one monkey made the vista start menu, another one made the
Internet explorer 7 interface... and another made the office 2007 ribbon!"

"We would have never thought of these designs on our own!!!" Said one of the
senior developers for vista...

However this news when leaked this week created much controversy. Microsoft
was using animals for their own purposes, taking advantage of them, paying
them only with bananas
and coffee and an occasional smoke...

Microsoft spokesman, Gregory Nevel said to the press:
"It is our decision to put them on the payroll from now on.. if they are
good enough for making vista, they should be able to go online and order as
many bananas as they want"

-------
The above is a fictional story... but it may reflect reality in a humorous
way.

Like monkeys, fanboys are attracted to eye candy and will like monkeys
jump up and down and aimlessly screech, scratch and throw feces around
if any outsider encroaches in their territory. Fanboys foolishly
consider this newsgroup THEIR territory and will try to defend it like
monkeys in the wild will make a lot of noise from the trees and start
throwing things at any animal wandering in to what they perceive as
their exclusive area.

Take this newsgroup's head monkey, the idiot Frank. This monkey
considers this newsgroup HIS exclusive territory. He will try to
pounce on anyone talking facts about Vista. He will begin to screech,
scream and start throwing things around in some feeble attempt to
defend Microsoft, his beloved 800 pound gorilla.

It isn't so much Frank likes gorillas. In fact monkeys and gorillas
don't get along that well in the wild. Frank defends Microsoft out of
fear of getting sat on, punched in the face or maybe thrown out of his
tree. It isn't that the 800 pound gorilla gives Frank anything. In
fact the 800 pound gorilla named Microsoft doesn't even known the
monkey Frank exists and couldn't care less how many monkeys jump and
down and dance in this goofy jungle called the general group. A fact
that never dawns on the monkeys.

Frank like some of the others here being nothing but screeching, ill
behaved monkeys don't have the skills necessary to have any
intelligent discussions. Therefore the monkey squad, also known as
fanboys are limited to jumping up and down, making noise, throwing
things around, typically feces, and in general just being silly
monkeys putting on a show for our amusement.

It also belies the myth that is you gave enough monkeys enough keyboards

Re: there is something about monkeys and Vista...

Most people absolutely hate vista.
yet another repost to refresh your 1 byte of memory

----

People who have vista 1.000.000

20 Percent of that are people who got a "vista ready" pc with XP installed
and were promised a copy of vista that they never touched because its a pile
a do doo.
18 percent are people who got vista with a new machine but were fed up with
it and formatted and installed XP
12 percent are people that installed XP on a second partition with Vista and
boot to vista only from time to time. Real work is done on the OS that
really works:XP
40 percent are people who pirated vista because they would never really pay
for such crap, or live in a 3rd world country and the cost of vista is what
they make in a year!
5 percent got free copies of vista due to participation in the beta programs
and other offerings so its free and they use it despite its crappyness
4 percent are tech geeks that need to have vista to experiment and learn so
they have it on a test machine but they use a real OS like XP Linux or Mac

so what is left? There is the 1%

Half of those are mentally retards that have way of knowing what they are
using.. so they dont count

that leaves us with 0.5 %

80% of those are reading the forums and starting to feel that they made a
mistake with vista.. they are starting to sweat

that leaves us with 0.2%

Half of those are Microsoft Employees that need to use it OR ELSE

that leaves us with only 0.1% that have vista and actually like it!!!

0.1 % of a million is 1000 people.

That 0.1% comes to this forum and spews lies about how stable and great
vista is!

That 0.1% is actually telling all the rest of the 99.9% that they dont know
what they are doing!

If you belong to that 0.1% you have the right to your opinion. But of course
you are wrong!

So put a sock in it already and start listening to the complaints are
realize that your dream machine is a worthless piece of monstrous crap!

What I've already said many times and you ain't listening is nobody
yet has offered any kind of proof on any numbers in any thread. It's
all smoke and mirrors. Do try to keep up. This is easy stuff. What I
find bordering on insanity is Frankie numbnuts and other members of
the doofus club pretending Vista is problem free and those having real
problems are limited only to user error. Well duh... even Microsoft
admits Vista is far from perfect. Otherwise they wouldn't be getting
ready to release SP1 soon.

Am I going too fast for you to follow along?

Maybe I should write at a 4th grade level so you have a better chance
of grasping maybe half of what I write. Let me know.
