Is anybody having problems with todays windows updates?

Six of the updates have successfully installed but the one shown below keeps
failing to install and I keep getting the 'Yellow Shield' reminder to install
it.

"Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.0 Service Pack 3
(KB928367)""

I have MS Net Framework 1, 2 and 3, on my PC and the other updates installed
correctly.

I was wondering whether there is a problem with the particular update or
whether they problem lies with my PC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the 'Yellow Shield' reminder is
very annoying.

Dave, you using Vista?

Because on Vista, I cannot update the Security Update for Microsoft .NET
Framework. it fails!

KB928367 says it is for .NET Framework version 1.0, and this link looks very
complicated! Isn't there a simpler way?

I am on XP Home - and the little yellow shield is still annoying me.

Does any body have any EASY instructions on how to make this update work?

Unfortunately the instructions quoted by Tourarian seem very complicated.

Try uninstalling Framework 1.1 from add/remove.
Then download the full file from MS Downlaods.
Then visit WU again and install all the patches.
It works for some.

That's what Scotty did -

I have un-installed and re-installed "Microsoft Net Framework 1" as suggested
by TourArian and it has worked. I no longer get reminded about the security
update which was becoming very annoying. Thanks for the help!
