Window Forms App & .net framework

Hi, All!

Just a small query. If I create a standard windows form (w/o any database access). Can I run it on a machine which has no .net framework installed on it?

You must have .NET Framework installed to run any application built in .NET.

Hmmm..too bad I guess I may have to stick for VB6 for windows standalone apps at the moment (Im still learning VB.net anyway, when .net is becoming more common, I can start actually producing vb.net apps)

It shouldnt take long for the .NET framework to find its place on home computers around the world. All the new versions of Windows will include it, the Windows update thats available now includes it, and all future Microsoft products will include it.

Also, the Framework is only 20 megs, a VB6 app with a few controls may be 5 or 10 megs.
