I cant reply to your post, so I thought Id do a little "review" here. I only had two problems, and one of them very well be user error.

1. I couldnt change my wager from $1.00. Maybe Im missing something, but neither backspace nor my number keys worked.

2. No splits allowed on face cards of different faces. For example, if I got a queen and jack I wouldnt be able to split even though the value of each is ten. Maybe this is a valid way to play, but at every casino Ive been to you can split any two cards so long as the values are the same. Not a big deal, but something to think about maybe.

Very nice job, though. It moves at a nice pace. Im in the process of doing the same game myself. Ill post it here when its done.

1) You can only change your bet inbetween games. Basically, if the deal button can be clicked you can change your bet. Obviously you shouldnt be able to change your initial bet while the current game is in progress. :) Of course.. there could be a funky bug somewhere, but it works fine for me.

2) Im pretty sure that the BlackJack rules for splitting is that you can only split pairs (cards with the same face number, NOT value).

Thanks for the comments, I look forward to viewing yours. :)

The betting works fine now. It wasnt working the first time I ran it, though. Or maybe I was suffering from temporary dumbness.

You very well may be right about splitting as well. Maybe thats how it is in the official rulebook. I think that some Casinos may change it up to throw the odds in players favor a little. I dont split 10s very often, but I seem to remember doing so. *shrug*

Anyway, Im having fun with it. Just have to keep it out of view of the boss....

Ah, well yeah different casinos have different rules. I tried to base the demo off general BlackJack rules that all casinos follow. Im sure that there might be a rule or two that isnt exactly correct in it, but it is after all just a demo I wrote to show how to use the card game class library I built.
