DirectX 9

Help!! Yesterday, I donwloaded the VB .NET DirectX 9 SDK. When I open up the prject files, I get numerous errors, including:
Namespace or type DirectX for the Imports Microsoft.DirectX cannot be found.
Where can I find these, or do I have to download the full SDK (doing that right now anyway)?

Did you reboot after you installed the SDK? I downloaded the full
package and it worked perfectly fine. Try re-installing it.

(You did remember to actually install the package, didnt you? )

I rebooted after install, I have DX9 installed and Ive tried a reinstall, Ill try another install in about 5-10 minutes when the full SDK is down.

I ran into this same problem. If you didnt download the full DX9
SDK, then you also need to download and install the DX9
Developer Runtime:

Ive got it working now, I installed the full SDK. Thanks for your help.
