Ive been using the Webmatrix tool for my ASP.NET programming because it seems like a "lite" version of VS.NET. I get that with this tool I cant do code behind and all that (Im working my way up there), but will I not be able to do many of the things ASP.NET should do because of this?

Im just trying to make sure that I dont spend too long on the wrong path.

Regards.

Thanks for both your replies. Ive been using it an as easy way to generate aspx pages without having to set up virtual directories and all that. But this is shaping up to be a large project, so it looks like its time to use VS.Net full time.

Many thanks.

Yeah, I see that now after converting my aspx pages in VS.NET and making them code behind. It wasnt too painful, now I just have to get this darn thing up and running.
