I'm trying to run Lock down IE on a Windows 2003 stand alone Server
that is going to be used as a remote desktop server. I want them to
be able to go to only certain sites. I've been trying to add those
sites into the "trusted Sites" Zone through gpedit. but it doesn't
seem to take.

Does anyone have any guidance on how to correctly set this up?

Thanks in advance..

Hello Bob,

For this you have to use ISA server. Not possible with GPO.

Best regards

Hello Meinolf,

If I can't block sites can I turn OFF the security feature in win2003
and then just block installs and downloads?
