As this seems to be a FAQ here, I have developed a couple of components to do just this. I am not providing source code yet, but I may do in the future if there is a demand for it.
DotNetWidgets Page
Rather than attaching binaries here in the forum (which is not allowed), I am linking to a page specifically for the product on my site. Remember, as with all binaries, you download it at your own risk.DotNetWidgets is a set of two components designed to help your application mimic the style of menus and toolbars seen on recent Microsoft products, including Office XP and Visual Studio .NET.
DotNetMenuProvider is a component that changes the look of all menus on a form, without the need for any coding. It also adds an Image property to every menu item, with a familiar dropdown list to choose icons from.
DotNetToolbar is a replacement for the somewhat limited toolbar that ships with the .NET framework. As well as being drawn with the stylish Office XP look, it features rich design time support. Buttons are added visually and can be modified and dragged around using the mouse.
