interface excel trough VB.NET

anyone know where I can find code on making a connection to and writing/reading to/from an excel spreadsheet?

How Come this is not working on my program? I get these errors
Type Excel.Application is not defined.
Type Excel.Workbook is not defined.
Type Excel.Worksheet is not defined.

Use Project >> Add Reference from menu to add Microsoft Excel to the project.
