Windows Word 2000. System freezes when a word document is opened. After
re-booting, everything is ok EXCEPT Word. Not confident with opening
registry. Any more ideas? Thanks

Please answer the original post in the future, thank you. Here is the
weblink that should be able to help you. It starts with renaming the file,
then registry -- that you can skip and third step is

"Step 3: Reinstall the Imaging Device
Follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall the USB imaging device.
This replaces the registry entries and reinstalls the Still Image Monitor
files.
