Hi,

I have a WinXP machine that until recently was part of a Win2003
Active Directory domain. Since changing the computer from domain back
to workstation (due to death of server), I've encountered very long
delays on opening IE, right-clicking on any file, and double clicking
word and AVI docs.

I can only guess that it's still looking for the server for some
reason.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Richard

I would check the DNS first. Or use nslookup to check the DNS status.
