SQL Server on WinXP

Does SQL Server 2000 work with Windows XP Prof?
I heard many people say that I need win2000 server or win2003. But I always used WinXP and never had any problem. Am I getting crazy?

Nope, it works fine with WinXP (Pro at least, not sure about Home).

I didnt purchase it. I have it just for praticing at home. But I dont think its the enterprise edidtion cause it runs on winXP.

Yep,
SQL 2000 Standard or Developer works with XP Pro.
SQL 2000 Enterprise only works with 2000 server.
