Form Authentication

I am a newbie to ASP.NET. I am trying to implement Form Authentication in my project. Can anyone please tell me whether Form Authentication can be made looked and felt like Window Authentication. I went to the following site and got to know about the Form Authentication

sure it can, you can make it look however you want, however, web browsers dont support modal dialogs, so you really cant get it to truely look like the windows authentication popup.

I want form authentication look like window authentication. Can anyone please provide me some tips to look like Window Authentication which will be very helpful. I think passport authentication and window authentication needs cookies. I dont want to use cookies since the end user can disable the cookies.

I understood what you are saying HumanCompiler after long and intensive search that these type of Authentication cannot be looked and felt like modal dialog. But can you please tell me how in some sites these are acheived. Is it becos they are using some other language or becos of Exchange Server. If you can explain regarding this it will be very much help me to understand the concepts better.

Exchange Server (Outlook Web Access) uses Windows Authentication, so thats how it can have a modal dialog like that.

Can we do form authentication without cookies? What is the difference between Form/Window/Passport and Custom Authentication? Can you also please tell me the benefits.
