Data Adaptor Query syntax

When specifying criteria for a query (built via the data adaptor configuration wizard), I want to use the value in a combo box as a criteria for a query.

Ive tried all the syntax I know from VB6 and VBA to no avail.....any ideas?

Right click on the data adaptor, select properties, expand SelectCommand and set the Parameters collection
