Beginner's Request

I am a newbie in .NET codings. I am mainly a VB6 programmer, and have some knowledge in Java as well. From what I have read, .NET does sound to incorporate Java OOP concepts to a certain extent, doesnt it? (correct if wrong)...

Could someone recommend a good site which offers tutorials or help for beginners in VB .NET (from scratch - the basics)?

Also, how different is C++ from C++.NET?

The whole .NET framework is created from classes, full OOP.

If by MSC++ you mean managed C++ then it different because it can use framework classes, normal C++ cant. But if you want, C++ stick with normal one.
