Hello everyone,

Is there a way to embed the Word 2000 or Excell 2000 application within a VB .NET form. A perfect example of this would be like how a word document or an adobe acrobat document would be viewed from within internet explorer.

What I would like to be able to do is from within my windows form be able to open a word or excell template into my form and edit the template. But it still is being done within word which is emeded into my form. If this is confusing then let me know.

Thanks,

Justin

that does suck

hey justin,

thought you would find my program interesting. if my website is still up tomorrow (we just got busted for spamming, even though they were supposed to be opt-in emails, and we paid 2K for them!), sorry, i am alittle pissed about my website being taken down. but anyway, go to my company site- www.xumbrus.com and take a look at the word integration i.... ok, myself and my team of developers, students, and teachers made. it works with word.

it is ironic you asked this q... because i was gonna post i the asp.net forum, and ask if you can embed word in an asp.net environment.. i will ask and let you know.

sincerely,

John

Well, kind of. You can embed a spreadsheet into your forms by:

1. Right Click on the toolbox.
2. Select "Customize toolbox"
3. Scroll down to Microsoft Spreadsheet 10.0, select it and click OK
4. It should now be ready for you to drag onto your form

hey guys

a little off subject..... how do you develop for Apples Word? You have to forgive me, I am a complete idiot when it comes to apple- any knowledge would be appreciated.
