Renaming the localhost

I need to rename the localhost through a little utility that Im putting together using VB.Net.

Can somebody please tell me the dead simple .NET command that will do this for me because I cant track down anything on MSDN thats of any use.

If you rename a clients localhost are they not going to peeved???

Its not me doing it, its a colleague.

I dont know if hes actually doing it to our company machines or whether hes doing it for his own network at home.

But regardless of the ethics, does anyone have an answer for me?

You can use 127.0.0.1 instead of the machine name, that being said I am closing this thread as I dont see a valid reason to programmatically changing it.
