Beginner to programming

I purchased vb.net and seemed overwhelmed. Can anyone give me some good links to get started from the VERY beginning.

I havent actually found any strong link , i was looking for myself about a year , but i can suggest you a book,
SAMS - Teach yourself VB.NET in 21 days,
its an excellent book to get started, it goes quite deep but in specific problems youll have to look uver the internet to find a solution, like here Its perfect for beginners

I have always enjoyed the Deitel books. I have three of them and they are all very good. Im sure their VB.NET book is no different.
