Dot Matrix Printing

I want to send text output to a Dot Matrix Printer. But by default windows send graphics output which takes ages to print on a dot matrix. How to access or install device fonts. Is there any way out.

ive tried printing a crystal report to a dot matrix printer and it works fine..

It works but it does not print as fast as it prints with DOS

i dont recall it taking ages if you ask me.. but ive not tried printing to it with DOS tho so i cant compare but its speed is rather reasonable.
