SQL Server 2003/4/?? Multi-language support?

Unfortunately I dont remember where, but I read somewhere that the next version of SQL Server will support other languages (like C++) within the queries, stored procedures, etc. Is this true? Oh, and when is the next version going to be released (as well as MSDE)?

Yukon, the next release of Microsoft SQL Server, will have support for .NET languages as well as Transact-SQL.

Any idea when Yukon is supposed to be released? With this coming out it makes me wonder if I should bother buying any more Transact SQL books.

To me it seems like they will concentrate everything now on developing the SQL server. SQL server hosting CLR? Wouldnt that add more trouble than the .net syntax is worth?
