How would I create a clock component in a vb.net application, ie a running clock that will be displayed in the status bar or a docked window?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there was a way of placing the system time in the status bar in vb6, but im not sure how to implement it in .net

stick a timer on the form

and then


say the name of the status bar is sts

Timer_Tick event

sts.panels.item(the index of the panel u want the text to be displayed).text = system.datetime.now
