I am a relative new comer and i know there are some very experienced people on this sight who know there stuff, so this one is a easy question.
I am looking to develop a web app. which will connect to a SQL server.
The app. i am going to write using the ASP section of .net.
Do i need a .net server to run the .net web app. or can it be run on a standard asp web server?
Is there any upgrade for user browsers (or .net frame work)?
Also, the app. is an extention of a VB6 app that i have. This isnt going to be an issue is it? I dont think it shoul be.
I did try to convert the app. to VB.net but after 2 and a half hours of converting (yes, its a big app) it basically failed.
