Adding pictures to richtext boxes

is there any way at all to allow user of my program to insert pictures or any ole object into a rich text box?

I seem to remember a hack that did this in VB6. You couldnt directly insert the object, it had to be placed on the clipboard and then pasted into the rtf document.
The rtf control in .net is as brain damaged as it was in VB6 so I dont think this will be any different.
