Hello,I have a question.
I have installed windows 2003 ts in application mode and I have 500 client
with the last RDP client.
I have deployed office and sap gui and all works fine. But I have a problem.
From my client (windows xpsp2 and with the last rdp client) I have four
physical disk a,b,c,d and a mapped network drive z:
I want to know if it's possible ,with remote desktop client and windows 2003
terminal server in application mode, redirect only (physical disk or physical
partition)a,b,c,d (in my computer but from other computer can be r,g,h,y etc)
and not mapped drives without user intervention(with a GPO or through
registry)(not throught the manual configuration of RDP client) because my
users can have more different mapped drives x,z,m etc. and I cannot set 500
remote desktop client.
Thnks

Re: Don't redirect only mapped drives but only physical disk

The feature you want does not exist. It has been requested
by others as well. One way to do this would be to assume
that drives A-E are local and set the .rdp file to only map
those. The downside is that it would not allow the user to map
other drives assuming they only have read-only access to the
..rdp file. Additionally they may have other local drives like
F:, G:, etc., or may have a network drive mapped as D:, E:,
etc.
