c++ vs. c#

I just whated to know the difference between c++ and c#?
the pros and cons?
the reason being I whant to get into programing and whant to
choice one. I know some computer on the hardware and the administrative side but would like to begin programing.
and maybe tell me some of the negative side of the industry and
the postive?

what are some good books to start learning these languages?

Id advise you to learn C# instead of C++ because C# is so much easier to learn. I find Jesse Libertys Programming C# (OReilly) a good book.
