Anyone knows some material about DirectX 9 or DirectSound 9 ?

Im working with sound synthesis and I desperately need some good material about DX9.

Please help me with some recommendation.

I believe you can check out the docs for DirectX 8 - it would be a good start if youre having trouble finding info on DX9 (fairly common).

I think DirectX 8 is pretty good replacement...

wyrd, Im afraid MSDN on-line is as poor as DX9SDK integrated help.

well... its not a very good idea to spend a hole month wage payment for a single DirectX book, because in Romania the price is the same as in USA (I hate this!).
So, I have to choose once and well.
