Editing Registry in VisualBasic .NET

Hello,

The application I am making can work with a variety of extensions that other applications may also be using. So, I am putting a listbox in where the user can select whatever file types they would like to assign. My question is how would I register file types programatically at runtime???

Im not sure of a direct method but you could just add entries to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT section for the file types using Microsoft.Win32.Registry. The functions and classes are very self-explanatory and MSDN has some help for using the classes.
