make program run on other computer

I have a program that I wrote on VB but I want it to run on my other computer. I dont want to install .net on it but when I just copy the .exe it tells me that I am missing some dll file. I copied that dll into the floppy where I had the exe but then it tells me that I am missing a bunch of other stuff

You need to install the whole .NET framework on the client computer, there is no way around it.

so what happens if you are making a commercial program. you cant have all of .net in the zip file right maybe I need to just include some dlls? I have searched for this question on yahoo and I found some page from microsoft that tells me to use the wizard to create an installable file but I am not sure where to find it.

.NET framework comes with its own installer so you dont need to pack into ZIP .

actually I found the file you were talking about. I remember now that I had to download the visual basic 6 run time files as well. this is the link.
