Where to find icons

Im working on an application and therefore I need some icons, does anybody know a place where to download these things ?

How do you change .gif images to .ico?

I use a program called Axialis IconWorkshop which is brilliant at manipulating icons. Theres also Microangelo which is good at editing icons.

If you really wanted to, just download the trial version of IconWorkshop and then import and convert all of your gifs as icos.

i use vs.net
file | new file | icon
and i specify the size and paste the image
