Drawing on MainMenu

Is is possible to draw a date on the MainMenu header bar without it being a menu item?

Not that I know of - not a managed way, at least. Im sure you could intercept the WM_NCPAINT message and do some processing to get the metrics/bounds of the menu and draw on it though.
