Hi there

Have a new Sony TZ laptop that is running Vista and is a great unit except
for one major issue. The resolution on the TZ is 1366x768 and when I connect
to our server running Terminal service I get a partial screen as the server
is 1024 x 768 so the ratio is wrong but I have apps that fill the server
screen and when you look at them on the Sony you cannot see the bottom
portion of the screen.. Now the scroll on the Remote Desktop screen works
but does not scroll to the bottom of what would be the server screen it only
shows so much and cuts off the rest so I cannot get to the bottom of my App.

Is there a cure to this??? Or did I just waste a lot of money on a Sony
Laptop

Re: Sony TZ laptop and terminal service

Hi Bill,

If you connect with the Display set to Full Screen do you still
have problems?

If Full Screen works okay but you don't want Full Screen mode
then I would suggest connecting at a smaller vertical resolution,
for example, 1024x718. The way to do this is to open Remote
Desktop Connection, configure all of the settings you want, set
the display for 1024x768 and save it as a .rdp file. Then open
the .rdp file in Notepad and change the desktopheight to 718.

If you want you could increase the horizontal resolution.
