i can't install VB.Net on XP home edition!!!

i have this strange problem, and it is that i cant install visual basic .Net on Windows XP Home Edition..

can u give a reasonable reason for that and can u give the solution for this strange problem!!!!

Does that happen when you choose a certain feature or what? XP Home doesnt support web development.

actully what happen is that it doesnt allow me to do anything...
i mean when first i run the setup program it give this sign.....

my question is: Can i install VB.NET on XP home edition????

You should be able, on the System Requirements page says it supports Windows XP Home.

jep, alslong as you dont need/uses the asp.net server plugin for IIS, But you cant even pick the uptions to update windows and all?
