Hi,
Hope someone can enlighten me on this issue..

I have written a application that used Jet4.0 for Access2K on a Win2K machine. (I will have incorporated the dB inside the msi).

Say if i was to install the application on a client running Win98 with Access97, is installation of : -mdac ver2.6 , jet4.0 , and the framework sufficient for the application to run??

What if the target is a WinXp with Access97, do i still install the same files?

Thanks ... :)

As long as MDac2.6 or later is installed on the target then your installation will work and everything will function the version of Access being run doesnt make a diffrence.

Jet4.0 is just a connection provider allowing you to communicate with the database.

Andy
