VB.NET Resource Kit!!! FREE!

Looks like a very comprehensive suite of controls and samples and stuff. Looks like it will be great. The download will be done in like 15 minutes, so Ill be able to check it then.

Got it downloaded. Its got all kinds of cool stuff, including free ComponentOne components. If you have a good connection, grab it (or just order the CD).

If you already have the resource cd from the VS suite all you need is to obtain the licence via email to unlock the componentone stuff on the CD

This is what is in my start menu:

Chart
DataExpress
DataObjects
FlexGrid
Input
List
Menus and Toolbars
Preview
Reports
Spell
True DBGrid
Zip

Looks great! :)

Zip!!!!?

Damn! I just spent a few days working with that C# zip .dll and creating the methods I needed for it to back everything up and now theres a .Net component for it?

Best of all, they are all FREE!! :)

It looks like Microsoft is realizing a few shortcommings, or fuzzy areas in .Net and bought out the tools this other company made.

Probobly be in the next version of .Net: ".Net 2003 Fall edition" :D

Had a bit of trouble initially getting it going after install, but digging through some of the information found I didnt have asp.net running.

So far looking great. This is awesome.:)

Its not free - its a 30 day trial version. Whenever you use one of the components it pops open a nice little trial message thing for you, giving you info. on how to purchase it.
