FTP commands and how to use them

Id like to know the commands used in FTP clients and how to use them. You guys might know a tutorial about it or even know it yourself. Thanks for your help.

I can never remember if its the project or solution files (or both) that have changed - the source files .cs .vb etc are the same so you could just create a new project and add the files to it.

Also if you search around these forums Im sure somebody has written a tool that can convert between them.
