I am attempting to add the remote access/VPN Role to my install of
Server 2003. Currently the Server is working as a Terminal Server
with about 30 users. I'd like to add the VPN role in order to assist
with the remote offices with the ability to print to the network
printers in their offices.
When I go to add the role however I get a pop up saying the following:
The Windows Firewall/Internet Connection sharing is turned on. Stop
the service and mark it disabled.
I really don't want to take the firewall down on a server that is
currently operating as a Terminal Server.
If anyone can give me some advice or assistance on how that next step
should be taken or if I'm attempting to add the role incorrectly I'd
appreciate it.
