Hi Meinolf,
thanks for your reply, and sorry about the delay in acknowledging it.
In addition to my own account this PC also has the standard/default
Administrator account, so hopefully I can't break too much of anything
goes wrong
However, before I go ahead, I wonder what will happen with all the
numerous registry entries containing my current full user name under
C:\Documents and Settings\Herbert Eppel\...
Will they all be changed automatically, along with the directory itself,
i.e. assuming I want to change my user name to Herb, will everything
appear under
C:\Documents and Settings\Herb\... ?
And will all my programs still work and refer to the new location?
