What's OS you use?

There are some pretty good studies available, that have a more random sample than what youll get here. I think that Windows 98 is still the most popular.

Heres an example of an old one. http://leb.net/hzo/ioscount/. I cant find a newer one.

I suspect that most of your replies will be XP or 2K here, as most people here are using .NET, and as it requires some fairly hefty hardware requirements, chances are they are using a newer computer with a newer OS.
 
Hmm. Yes! It seems that all voters are .net programmers.

That data is based on server OS, not internet users.

(I think) He is trying to figure out which Windows OS .NET program users use most.

none of this makes any sense at all, no matter how many times to read it.
 
lets be logical here..... since (obviously) most people on this forum are .net users, its safe to assume that windows 2000 and XP are the most use OSs (on this forum) becuase .net can only be installed in 2000/XP
 
Pentium - Wrong, .NET can be installed in a W98 computer too
dragon4spy - NO, there is not a .NET framework for MacOS (yet)

That really surprises me. From what id heard, it is estimated that 40% of people still have 95 and 98. Maybe these are more casual users who arent likely to be voting in things like this anyway...
 
Oops! It is not a poll but the statistics that google logged every unique visitor.

Its the most accurate statistics of home & office pcs i ever found.
