Help on using NUNIT

Hi,
I just want to ask how to utilize the NUNIT tool. I have read the documentations from the various sites about this tool, but, it seems that these informations already assumes that you are experienced at using it.

1.) Are there specific configurations that has to be set before you could utilize this tool?
2.) Where do you write the code? (I know this one is pretty dumb)
3.) Please do correct me, but as I have understood, you would write two codes - original and the testing code - for the NUNIT to utilize. Is this correct? If these are two separate codes, then how could you test the original one when in fact they are separate?

I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP ABOUT THIS NUNIT.

maybe it helps to tell us what nunit is, maybe also typing of urls can help, there are people who take time to create good answers and try to get new knowledge all the time, so if you had posted here a link i would read it perhaps and give you an answer
